Be sure, they are all well connected to the subwoofeer or control box (depend on the model you have). Remove all the connection between the satellites and subwoofer. Re-plug them again. Please make sure the speaker system is power off before remove any cables.

Yes. The subwoofer contains a transformer that powers the satellite speakers and this sometimes creates a hum or vibration. |

Q |
I have a loud hum coming from my subwoofer. What should I do? |
<TOP> |
|
Move the power cord from the power surge protector (if applicable) and plug directly into an AC wall socket. Check all the cables are fully seated with the jacks. If you disconnect your stereo cable from the sound card and the loud hum goes away, then you may need to use Windows to adjust the volume control as you may be overdriving the volume settings on your speaker system. To adjust the volume on your PC, click on the speaker icon located next to the digital clock to the lower right of your Windows screen and adjust the volume. |

Make sure the system is plugged into a live AC socket. If the system is plugged into a surge protector, be sure the surge protector is switched on. Try to plug another device to the same AC socket and check is it working or not. |
